Tyler never learned how to walk. He went from rolling over as a baby, to crawling, to a full-out mad sprint to the finish line. There has never been the pitter patter of little feet in our home; only the thud thud thud that has often been mistaken for a herd of elephants.
Last night, he was running to join us to sit on the couches in the living room. He stumbled ever so slightly, but because of the velocity at which he was travelling, his body was hurled into the air, planting him face-first into our sofa. I am just happy that he did not end up with a black eye this morning...
