I am turning 32 this year - which seems really old. But, watching this video makes me happy. I definitely did not appreciate Hammer Pants at the time, but looking back, I am happy to clearly remember being a teenager when they ruled the dance floor:

Of course there was a group of crazy hammer pants dancers in LA - when the craze was at it's height!
Poor me. I was too young and missed out.
Crazy as this is, this video reminds me of why I love LA.
