I was sitting down munching on a bowl of cereal this morning. The boys were playing nicely and I actually got a chance to read a bit of the morning paper. About half-way through an article detailing Reggie the alligator's failed escape at the LA Zoo, I realized that I was enjoying breakfast. This was a sensation that I had not felt in about 3 years. Kerri,
Yeah, you can add my link. My blog is so new and kind of lame. We will see what evolves.
It is funny how getting a peaceful moment in your day is always a result of children getting into things they shouldn't. :)
Kerri,
It always seems that you have to pay for the small moments of peace and quite.

Are you sure those aren't my kids? That looks like something they'd do! I put latches on all of the cabinets this week and they still figured out how to sneak food out of them!
Thank you so much for that picture! I love how Dylan has a deer-in-headlights look and Tyler has an oops-I've-been-caught look! I'll send some pics of Jocelyn soon. :)
Never thought I'd fear silence . . .
Ha. That's hilarious. So much for your peaceful breakfast. My mother in law once told me (before I had kids) that she use to put bells on her boys shoes while they were playing in the house. Then, if she didn't hear the bells jingling, she knew they were into trouble. I thought that didn't make sense at all. Why would it be quiet if they were getting into something? But since having kids, I have learned it is SO true.
Ahh, the dreaded moment of peace. I had one of those this morning then went to find Penny and her friend had both peed all over her couch cushions and it had soaked WAY in. But somehow the moment of peace made the moment of pee worth it.
classic :) love the expression on Dylan's face!!
